Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan, is a massive and innovative mosque, the largest in the country and sixth-largest globally. Built by Saudi King Faisal as a gift, it showcases an 8-sided design, blending modern and traditional Islamic styles, with no pillars in the prayer hall. The project, completed in 1986, is a testament to the architect Vedat Dalkeşen"s unique vision.
