The life of a silkworm is brief, starting from tiny yellow eggs that hatch into black,蚁-like baby蚕 (乙蚕) in just two days. They undergo four major molts, growing and preparing for the final stage of forming a cocoon. Inside the cocoon, they transform into pupae, some of which emerge to mate and reproduce before facing death within 50 days. The process includes feeding, molting, and the remarkable transformation from egg to moth.
